Poland: Euro 2012 Preparation Without Problems

Readiness of Poland as one of the host Euro 2012 finals, along with Ukraine, reportedly having problems. However, the skewed news directly contradicted by the parties concerned.

Some Polish media reported, the construction of National Stadium Warsaw constrained problem in the construction of evacuation stairs. In fact, the construction of the stadium with a capacity of 55 thousand spectators expected to be completed by the end of June.

Related to these issues, development projects expected to be delayed up to 10 months. However, a spokesman for the local organizing committee, Mikolaj Piotrowski explained that the preparation of the implementation of the final round of Euro 2012 stadium construction problems are not constrained.

"We've identified some risks, which relate to the quality and safety. The key issue currently is talks with the builders about the details of the schedule of completion, "said Piotrowski.

"It's too early to talk about certainty of completion date. What is clear, no problems in the preparation of Euro 2012, where we still have time up to 380 days ahead, "he said as quoted from Soccerex, on Friday (05/27/2011).

Apparently, rumors emerged one day after the revocation of one venue, the Stadium's PGE Baltic Arena Gdansk, to hold a friendly match between Poland vs France on 9 June. Action is intended as a test debut, but the construction of the stadium is estimated to have not finished until the end of June.
