Ambition Mission of Argentina and Brazil

Copa America 2011 event will be held starting this weekend. Argentina as the host carries the ambition to be champion, while other strong teams in the tournament Brazil aiming for hat-trick between the countries in the Americas region. 

Like the previous event-event, the Copa America this time will be followed by 12 teams that will be incorporated in the three groups to face each other in their respective groups for a ticket to the knockout phase (quarterfinals). Those entitled to penetrate the knock-out phase are the two top teams in the preliminary round, while two other tickets, will belong to the third ranked team the best. Total, eight teams will compete in the knockout phase and the subsequent struggle to fight the championship trophy. 

In the 14th edition after changing the format into the Copa America, Argentina as the host occupies a Group A along with Bolivia, Colombia and Costa Rica. Champion in the two previous editions, Brazil are in Group B, together with Paraguay, Venezuela and Ecuador. While Group C will be filled in Chile, Mexico, Peru and Uruguay.
