Brazilian defender appearance last season was pretty impressive. No wonder then if he has been named as one of the world's best defender. Silva also had claimed to get a bid from Barcelona.
This statement makes the media speculating about his future. Silva was rumored to leave to the Catalan club, although the Rossoneri had just extended the contract.
"I did not even move from the chair when I heard Barcelona interested in Silva," said Galliani declared not wonderfull with rumors that connects Silva and Barca.
"He's the best defender the world, so naturally the best team the world wanted to bring it," he continued, as quoted by Football-Italy, on Wednesday (06/15/2011).
"I predict it will come. That's why I renewed the contract Silva until 2016. It is clear he will not leave Milan, "Galliani added.
