Jermain Defoe previously rumored to want to leave White Hart Lane to look for a new challenge for him. Arsenal reportedly interested in bringing the 28-year-old players to the Emirates Stadium as reported by the Mirror Football.
Tottenham itself is rumored to open the door to any bid for the England striker.
Defoe was imported by the Spurs from Porstmouth priced 15.75 million pounds in 2009.
Meanwhile, Arsenal, Arsene Wenger and the Gunners chief executive, Ivan Gazidis, rumored to be busy in the transfer market this summer to bring in some players.
With Nicklas Bendtner said he wanted to leave the Emirates, Wenger is expected to seek a new striker to add to the attacking team.
Defoe currently has the remaining two years of a six-month contract with Spurs, but there is no sign of Tottenham will renew his contract.
