Ask for Higher Pay, Roma De Rossi Confident Maintain

ROME - AS Roma justify the high salary demand from Daniele De Rossi, but they sure will find an agreement that benefits both parties.

De Rossi reportedly charging up to 6.5 million euros per season to extend his new contract. That figure is clearly too high for I Giallorossi. However, in order to maintain one of its main assets, CEO Claudio Fenucci sure will reach deal.

"What is said is true Daniele, footballer has ambitions to make money, but the club also must try to accommodate that price," said Fenucci told La Repubblica on Saturday (09/10/2011).

"Daniele important players and I am sure we will resolve this question, but to date there are no talks scheduled," he added.

De Rossi touted incoming target Roberto Mancini who want take to Manchester City. Roma will play the first game this season and cons Cagliari De Rossi is expected to perform as a starter.
